Vintage Legacy
My love of vintage fashion, art, and objects stemmed from my grandmothers: Granny Mary's literature, illustrations, and objet d'art, and Granny Helen's on-trend fashion sense for every decade of her life. I have strong memories of sifting through Mary's corner cupboard looking for candy and instead finding drawers stuffed with postcards and letters from her family and friends, as I do combing through hangers, and hat and shoe boxes in Helen's 'upstairs' closets when she retired particular outfits and accessories. I'm proud to say most of my hobbies and talents reflect their influence.
